Magnus Bane is the High Warlock of New York City. Living in an apartment in an industrial neighborhood. He has spent centuries looking for love until one day without realizing it he had given up hope, until those open blue eyes showed up at his party with Clary. Magnus has finally found his love and along with it a family he never truly believed he could have. No matter how lonely life has gotten he has always been comfortable in his flamboyancy.

His closet warlock friends over the centuries were Ragnor Fell, Catrina Loss, and Tessa Grey. He also has a fondness for the vampire Raphael. From time to time he has also had a feline friend. Long ago he brought the cat Church from London to New York and now he has a cat Charmian Meow.


Magnus is slender with a bright smile and cat eyes. He is of Asian decent (half dutch half Indonesian). He is about 6'2", black nearly shoulder length hair that is styled. His demon father is a Prince of Hell. He was found as a child and taken in by the Silent Brothers nearly 400 years ago. When he grew up he decided that he would never be that helpless again. Since then his path has crossed for better or worse with the Nephlim.
